Wish Upon a Princess

Princess Parties and Entertainment

Wish Upon a Princess offers princess and other character parties and home visits in and
around Maidenhead, Berkshire. This includes Windsor, Bracknell and the surrounding areas.
Founded in 2015 by Kim Leyendeckers, your child will be able to have a fairytale experience on their special day. They can choose a theme and a princess or other character (such as a superhero).

Their chosen entertainer will then provide a fun packed party, full of games, music and
storytelling.

Wish Upon a Princess characters, children's parties

Face to face birthday parties will include photo opportunities, games of your choice and even princess lessons from the princess character! You have a choice of different party packages and an additional entertainer if you require.

The Basic package runs for 60 minutes, the Enhanced package is 90 minutes or the
Enchanted package is a party of 2 hours.

Each package has different features, for example party bags and tiara decorating (for a longer party) and the events and activities can be customised.

You can also create your own package by contacting Kim.

Lockdown Entertainment

With current restrictions, online parties are available. These include princess parties via Zoom (starting from £30), where children can celebrate virtually with their friends. They will still experience all the fun and games of a birthday party but from the comfort of their own home.

Other options also include a personalised video message for the birthday boy or girl (starting from £15) or a FaceTime visit (starting from £20).

You could even organise a surprise doorstep visit. For 20 minutes, they can have storytelling, singing and a socially distanced photo. Prices are from £25.

Have a look at the website (below) for more details.

Wish Upon a Princess can still give your child a magical day even if restrictions are in place.

 Special Events

There are always events going on to entertain the children. These include regular Facebook Live streams via their Facebook page.

Storytime with a princess or creative crafts with a Snow Sister are free events. There is a Paypal tip jar linked on the page to add a donation if you choose to.

Make sure to look out for the paid ticketed upcoming events which are longer and can include a variety of characters too. There are concerts and parties for families, full of games and entertainment. These include Valentines Balls, Easter and Christmas parties.

About Kim

Do you cater for boys as well as girls with your themed parties?

Yes we do, we can cater to virtual any theme request having done things like jungle and safari themed in the past, we are also adding new characters very frequently at the moment with some descendants characters coming in the next weeks and superhero’s as well. If a client is interested in a character we don’t already have we can still normally accommodate this request and bring in the character it would just be a case of asking.

What is your most popular character?

Currently both The Snow Queen and Princess (Elsa and Anna) book most frequently but we have had an upsurge for Mal from Descendants and haven’t even formally announced her arrival yet!

Do you offer parties online due to the current restrictions?

Yes we are currently operating solely virtually with lockdown, offering video messages and calls as well as our popular zoom parties and free Facebook livestreams. We also hole ticketed zoom events having just had a Valentines Ball with our next event being an Easter party during the Easter holidays.

As well as the characters, do you provide anything else for the party?

We provide the full entertainment package for all parties. Which includes the games, crafts if chosen, character, music, prizes for games etc.  Clients can also choose to add things like party bags, decor and cakes to their packages. We supply some of this ourselves but we are also working in collaboration with a local party shop that helps with things like balloons and cake.

What sort of seasonal events do you do?

Currently we offer virtual events themed to each upcoming holiday event. We did a Valentines Ball and Concert. That was £10 per household and included 2 hours of games, stories and performances for 4 different characters.

Our Easter Party is a longer event that clients can choose to attend the full day, half day or pay by session, with there being 6 sessions including, storytimes, dance, crafts, concerts and and Q&A.
