Valley Ponds and landscapes are pond specialists based in Knowl Hill, Berkshire (in between Maidenhead and Reading). Valley Ponds was set up by Stewart Bristow, in 1995. With a background in aquatics, Stewart spent many years working in garden centre settings. This gave him experience and knowledge not only in ponds and wildlife, but in horticulture too.

Services include: Building ponds from scratch, maintenance, landscaping, fences, raised beds, turfing, garden design and consultation.

Garden Design

If you would like a garden plan to create the space you desire and have the right plants to suit your garden and your lifestyle, then this can be discussed. 

With a creative background, Stewart has the talent to design and landscape gardens, build patios, water features, ponds and rockeries. He will work with a team for larger or specialist jobs.

He can choose the right flowers and shrubs for your garden and help you when selecting fish for your pond or aquarium.

Or will carry out maintenance on your pond, filter or garden.

Covering Berkshire and the Surrounding Area

Stewart works closely with customers to discuss ideas for their pond including lighting, rockeries, plants and the right fish for you.

Your lifestyle and your own personal style will be the priority, and you will receive expert advice. Whether you need a low maintenance garden or something designed from scratch.

About Stewart

What made you start your own business?

I worked in the aquatics industry in the Maidenhead area supplying and setting up filter systems for ponds. I was installing pumps for landscaped gardens.

I was asked by customers about general landscaping, so it was a natural progression to set up my own business.

It was more exciting to have my own business and I already had a good customer base from word of mouth.

I have loyal customers. Some of which I have had for many years.

I work not only in the Maidenhead and Berkshire areas, but I have regular customers in Bucks and Herts as well.
