Sailing Club Open Day
The Maidenhead Sailing Club has an open day, free to members and non-members. It will be on bank holiday Monday 1st May, between 12pm – 4pm at the Sailing Club, off Summerleaze Road, SL6 8HZ
There will be taster sessions on the lake, different boats available, aged 8 and over, BBQ and cake sale. You can also bring a picnic – and a change of clothes is advisable!
Bring Baby Choir
Bring Baby Choir starts at Norden Farm on Friday May 5th at 12:30pm and runs every Friday until July 21st.
It is a great way to get out with your baby, 0-2 years and it’s open to parents, grandparents and carers. No singing expereince is necessary!
First session is free with a cup of tea or coffee included.
Norden Farm Outdoor Market
The outdoor market will be at Norden Farm on Saturday 6th May, 12pm – 4pm.
There will be stalls of artisan goods, gifts, food and more.
King’s Coronation Ceilidh at Norden Farm
There will be a special Coronation Ceilidh at Norden Farm on Saturday 6th May at 7:30pm.
Learn the routines and dance your socks off to the house Ceilidh band.
Coronation Picnic on the Moor
The village Coronation celebration Picnic on the Moor is a free event on Sunday 7th May 12pm onwards, on the Cookham Moor.
There will be entertainment between 12-4, a bake off competition, kids corner, raffles and more. Bring your chairs and picnic blankets for an afternoon of entertainment.
No booking, just turn up!
Coronation Family Funday
There will be a family funday on Monday 8th May at Oaken Grove park, between 1pm – 5pm.
There will be stalls, cakes, games, refreshments, raffles and more.
Cox Green Village Fayre
The Cox Green Village Fayre will take place on Brill Green, Cox Green Lane on Saturday 13th May from 12pm.
There will be attractions, mobile farm, street dance, balloon artist, Barlow Mow beer festival, music and more.
Repair Cafe
The monthly repair cafe will be at the Eco Action Hub, Nicholsons Centre on Saturday 13th May, 10am – 3pm.
Run by repair coaches, they will show you how to repair your broken items – such as electrical items, frames, textiles and more.
Book by the Thursday befoe the event. Free to book.
Fairground Horse Unveiling
The unveiling of the Carters Steam Fair fairground horse will be on Saturday 13th May between 12pm – 4pm at the Waterside Quarter, Maidenhead SL6 1QL.
There will be an afternoon of fairground inspired events, with face painting, a series of fairground stalls, popcorn and candy floss. All free!
The traditional fairground horse is the final piece of artwork to complete Maidenhead’s Sculpture Trail.
Maidenhead Farmers’ Market
The monthly farmers’ market will be at Grove Road carpark on Sunday 14th May, 9:30am – 1pm.
There will be fresh local produce, meat, dairy, bakery, preserves and more.
Solution Focused Self-Care Workshop
There will be a solution focused self-care workshop hosted by coach Sarah Harlow (Unwind and Uplift) on Monday 15th May from 7pm – 9pm at Cox Green Community Centre.
The workshop will use journaling, coaching techniques, guided visualisation and relaxation to inspire and motivate you to follow your path, or feel calmer.

Outdoor Cinema Top Gun: Maverick
Top Gun: Maverick (12A) will be showing at Stubbings on Friday 19th May and Saturday 20th May. Doors open at 7:30pm and the film starts when the sun goes down at 9:15pm.
There will be homemade chilli and rice, and drinks at the bar. Book your tickets online.
Laughing Chili Comedy Club
Laughing Chili Comedy Club returns to Smokeys, Nicholsons Lane on Friday 19th May. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm.
Purchase your tickets online – they also include admission to the club afterwards.
Little Me Spring Carnival
Little Me Preschool will be having their spring carnival on Sunday 21st May at Maidenhead and Bray Cricket Club between 11am and 3pm.
There will be plenty of activities, such as soft play bus, kins n kart go karting, fairground rides, woodland play with marshmallows, boucy castle and more. Book for pop up play village events.
Let’s Rock the Moor
Let’s Rock the Moor will be on Cookham Moor on Saturday 20th May. Gates open at 11am, the festival starts at midday, and finishes at 10:30pm.
The ultra retro festival that includes a line up of 80’s and 90’s pop stars – such as Kim Wilde, OMD, The Farm, T’Pau, Nik Kershaw, The Boomtown Rats and more.

Sausage and Cider on the Farm
Sausage and Cider on the Farm will take place at the FiFest venue, Forest Green Road, Fifield on Saturday 27th May, 12pm – 9pm.
There will be DJ’s, vinyl vibes, sausages, cider, pimms and more.
