Norden Farm Outdoor Market Jubilee Special
Head down to the Norden Farm Outdoor Market on Altwood Road, on Saturday 4th June from 12pm – 4pm.
It’s free entry and you can browse the stalls and support local businesses. There are arts and crafts, cookies and cakes and specialist drinks – such as loose leaf tea and gin.
There will also be Jubilee celebrations going on with music and entertainment.
Craft & Gift Market at Taplow Lakeside Cafe
As part of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations, there will be a craft and gift market at Taplow Lakeside Cafe, Amerden Lane on Thursday 2nd June, between 10am – 4pm.
The cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch, as well as cakes, icecream and snacks all day. There will be local crafters selling their unique pieces.
Messy Church at St Marks Methodist Church
Messy Church is an event for young families, at St Marks Methodist Church, Allenby Road on Sunday 5th June from 4pm – 6pm.
There’s no need to book. Creative activities are suitable for children up to aged 10, with a biblical theme. There are also stories, games, prayer and a shared sit down meal.
Platinum Jubilee Paddles
Paddleboard Maidenhead are holding some special paddleboarding events from Maidenhead to Windsor on Thursday 2nd June and from Maidenhead to Cookham on Sunday 5th June. All money raised over the bank holiday weekend will be donated to The Princes Trust.
These sessions will run from 9am – 1pm on Thursday 2nd and from 10am – 4pm on the Sunday. And on the Sunday – there is a fancy dress theme! Suitable for slightly more experienced paddleboarders.

M2M Events: Clueless About Family Financial Planning
M2M Events will be hosting another informative evening at The Lord Grenfell, Oldfield Road on Wednesday 8th June, from 7:30pm – 10:30pm.
This event will be all about financial planning. There will be an expert panel, where questions around making a will, inheritance tax, different types of savings and university fees will be answered.
Tickets cost £20 and there will be drinks and nibbles included.

Maidenhead Coffee Morning
This is the second coffee morning held in aid of the crisis in Ukraine. It will be at the All Saints Parish Centre, Boyne Hill Road, SL6 4HE on Wednesday 8th June, between 9am – 1pm.
There will be stalls, a tombola, cakes, a book sale, silent auction, kids corner, plants, tea and coffee – and more!
Repair Cafe at Maidenhead Library
The monthly Repair Cafe will return to the Maidenhead Library, St Ives Road on Saturday June 11th between 10am – 3pm.
Admission is free, but if you have an item that need repairing, you must book in advance. The experienced team of repair coaches will teach you how to fix your broken belongings and love them again. It can be anything from a small electrical items to basic woodwork.

So 80’s Brunch at The Lord Grenfell
Impossible Things events will be bringing the 80’s to The Lord Grenfell, Oldfield Road on Saturday 11th June between 11am – 2pm for a bottomless brunch!
You can choose your drinks (alcoholic or non alcoholic) and your brunch from the menu. Then enjoy entertainment, quizzes and dancing! Dressing up is optional – but encouraged!
Maidenhead Farmer’s Market
The monthly Maidenhead Farmers’ Market will be back at Grove Road Car Park, SL6 1SQ on Sunday 12th June, 9:30am – 1pm.
Support your local Farmers and businesses with fresh produce – meat, poultry, honey, pies, fruit and veg. This month there is a special June Jubilee offer. Pick up an ‘egg’ at the info stall to qualify for £3 off any product from any stall.
Monthly Full Moon Paddles
Join Paddleboard Maidenhead for their monthly full moon paddle from Medmenham near Marlow on Tuesday 14th June, 8pm – 10pm.
Capture the full moon in all its glory as you paddleboard together in a group on the Thames. You can bring your own board or hire equipment as needed. The Strawberry Moon is the last Supermoon in Spring and is particularly low in the sky.
Harry Hill: Experiments in Entertainment 3 – work in progress
Well loved comedian Harry Hill will be live at Norden Farm, Altwood Road, on Wednesday 15th June, 8pm.
Join him as he tests drives what a joke is as he comes to Maidenhead as part of his tour.
Thames Valley Adventure Playground Disco-Ball
The TVAP Disco-Ball will take place at the Thames Valley Adventure Playground, Bath Road, Taplow on Saturday 18th June from 7pm – 11pm.
The disco-ball is to celebrate their 40th birthday, and is open to friends, carers and their families. The disco will be in the annexe hosted by DJ Dan Blaze, and there will be mocktails on offer. The soft play will also be open as a chill out zone.
There will be a photo booth and raffle. Tickets are £10 per person.
Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk
The Thames Hospice Sunflower Walk will take place from the Thames Hospice, Windsor Road on Saturday June 18th at 10am.
The event is free to attend, and you can walk a distance of 2.5k, 4k or 10k to remember a loved one. After the walk there will be jubilee celebrations in the gardens with refreshments and entertainment. You can also leave a special message on the memory tree displayed in the hospice garden.
They would like everyone who takes part to raise a minimum of £70. And if you raise £250 or more, you will receive a special jubilee themed sunflower hoodie.
Free Children’s Workshop
There will be a free children’s workshop in the Nicholsons shopping centre, Maidenhead on Saturday 18th June, between 10am – 2pm.
Children can paint a wooden Father’s Day plaque, no booking necessary. Tables will be set up outside Pandora.
Maidenhead Lions Duck Derby at Ray Mill Island
The Maidenhead Lions Duck Derby and fun day will take place on Ray Mill Island, Boulters Lock on Sunday 19th June between 1pm – 5pm.
Admission is free and there will be plenty of stalls with gifts, treats and games. There will also be children’s entertainment and train rides.
The duck race will start at 4:30pm – 1st place wins £250!
Open day at Maidenhead Fire Station
Head along to the Maidenhead Fire Station, Bridge Road, SL6 8PG on Sunday 19th June from 10am for an open day. There will be live demonstrations and guests can go behind the scenes. Children can also have a go at being firefighters in a play firehouse.
There will be a raffle, food and refreshments. All money raised will go towards the Fire Fighters charity and The Brett Foundation.
Boyne Hill CC Caribbean Evening
Head along to the Boyne Hill Cricket Club, Highway Road on Saturday 25th June from 7pm for a Caribbean evening.
Expect cocktails, authentic Caribbean food, and a DJ. It’s free entry and the event is open to members and non members.
Smokeys beach party
If you’re up for a party, then head to Smokeys, Nicholsons Lane, SL6 1LB on Saturday 25th June 10pm – 4am.
Wear your best beach wear and enjoy the party – with DJ Jack Da Beat.
Midsummer Beer Festival Taplow Lakeside
The Midsummer beer festival will be taking place at Taplow Lake House Cafe, Amerden Lane, SL6 0EA on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June.
Sessions are: Friday 24th June 5pm – 10pm
Saturday 25th June 12pm – 5pm and 5:30pm – 10:30pm
There will be 6 Scandinavian beers on tap and more by bottle and can. Book your table by calling 01628 782113. £5 per person which is redeemed on the day.
Family Zoo Day BCA Zoo
Book your family zoo day at BCA Zoo, Burchetts Green on Saturday 25th June at 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 4pm.
These sessions run on the last Saturday of every month throughout the summer. During your session you can visit the animals in the courtyard, head to the reptile house or see the farmyard animals at your own pace.
Other activities may be taking place in the cafe (additional charges apply). Tickets cost £8 and pre booking is essential.
Artisan Craft Market
The monthly artisan craft market returns to the Maidenhead High Street on Sunday 26th June between 1am – 4pm. Sponsored by The Craft Coop, expect stalls down the high street selling gifts, crafts and personalised products.
Join the Athena ladies for some FREE online networking. This is an online festival on Monday 27th June between 10am – 3pm.

Little Fishes Toddler Group
The Little Fishes church toddler drop in group is on every Wednesday from 9:30am at Cox Green Community Centre.
This is a free session where parents and carers can bring children aged 0 – 5 for story time, crafts, songs and refreshments. No booking required.
