Hobbycraft Maidenhead Official Opening

After a long wait, the brand new Hobbycraft Maidenhead store finally opened its door for the first time on Tuesday 18th April 2023, and had the grand opening on Saturday 22nd April 2023.

Situated on the Stafferton Way Retail Park, Maidenhead, SL6 1AY there is free customer parking. It is open Monday to Saturday 9am – 8pm and Sunday 10:30am – 4:30pm.

The official opening took place at 9am on 22nd April. The Mayor of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Christine Bateson cut the ribbon, before the doors opened to let the long queue of excited customers – many of which had waited patiently for up to an hour before opening time.

The first one hundred customers in the queue were given a ticket for a free goodie bag with any purchase – which included crafty bits such as ribbon, card, stretched canvas, a bag and table sign holder for parties.

There were also demos going on in the store – free Snazaroo face painting, free Decopatch demonstrations and free artisan digital cutting demonstrations.

What is in the new Hobbycraft Maidenhead Store?

The new Maidenhead store is all on one floor, with arts and craft materials, toys and crafts for children, sewing and knitting supplies, paper, art materials, baking and so much more. There is plenty of choice and a good selection – plus plenty of inspiration of you want to get creative.
