The Athena Network
The Athena Network is a women – only online business national and international network, based on support, collaboration and training. With one single annual membership, women have a FREE pass plus to visit over 140 Athena groups anywhere (where the profession is not locked out).
This brings an influx of women into each group meeting, as well as allowing members to ‘travel without travelling’ to any other meeting – where the profession is open.
Meetings run online once an month, every month (excluding August and December) from 12pm – 2pm. The Maidenhead meeting will be on Tuesday 12th April, Marlow will be on Wednesday 13th April and White Waltham will be on Tuesday 19th April.

Lingotot Maidenhead Easter Spanish Camp
Bookings for the Lingotot Maidenhead Spanish Camps are open. The holiday camp runs from Tuesday 12th April – Thursday 14th April from 9am – 3pm (early drop off from 8:30am) at the Cookham Rise Methodist Church.
This fun educational camp is for 5 year olds to 8 year olds (or aged 4 if in full time reception).
There will be a different theme each day – Tuesday will be El Encanto de Colombia! (The Charm of Colombia), Wednesday is Spring into Easter and Thursday’s theme is At the Fairground.
You can book individual days (£45 per day) or £120 for all three days.

Family Concertini with YolanDa Brown at Norden Farm
A ‘Concertini’ is a bite-size live music experience for families with young children. And there will be the opportunity to join world renowned saxophonist, star of CBeebies YolanDa’s Band Jam and MOBO award winner YolanDa Brown at Norden Farm in the Courtyard Theatre. This inspirational Concertini will be a fusion of Reggae, Jazz and Soul.
Suitable for families with children 4 years and over. Showing on Tuesday 12th April at 11:30am and at 2pm. Tickets £12 and £10 for under 16’s and £40 for 4 people.
Repair Cafe Maidenhead
The Repair Cafe Maidenhead will be returning to the Maidenhead Library, St Ives Road on Saturday 9th April, from 10am – 3pm.
The team of repair coaches volunteer to help visitors to fix their beloved items and bring them back to life. These include small furniture items, woodwork, electrical items, picture frames, laptops and phone repairs and more.
The monthly cafe’s are popular, so make sure you book your free ticket in advance.
M2M Events Clueless About Gaming
M2M Events was set up to bring Mums together and offer fun workshops and events.
On Wednesday 6th April from 7:30pm – 10:30pm at The Lord Grenfell, Oldfield Road will be a workshop called Clueless About Gaming.
There will be drinks and nibbles and an expert panel who will provide answers to questions around kids and gaming. They will explore online safety, limiting screen time, and what kids are playing at the moment.
Tickets cost £20.
Maidenhead Farmers’ Market
The Maidenhead Farmers’ Market is Berkshire’s longest running independent market. And it will return on Sunday 10th April from 9:30am – 1pm at Grove Road Carpark, SL6 1SQ
You’ll have the opportunity to purchase fresh local produce, such as meat and fish, breads, pies, honey, dairy and much more!
Quest Family Fest
The Norden Farm Quest Family Fest is back – running from Tuesday 12th April – Friday 22nd April at Norden Farm, Altwood Road, Maidenhead.
The Quest Family Fest is two weeks of workshops, shows, films and more. It’s aimed at families and children – where there are over 40 workshops to choose from!
Workshops are £4.50 per person or you can buy a pass for 4 workshops for £16 per person.
These include messy play for pre-schoolers, magical art wand making, drama workshops, digital animation and much more!
Barkshire Dogs Fun Day at Stubbings
This fun dog show event will take place at Stubbings Nursery, Maidenhead SL6 6QL on Sunday 10th April from 10am – 2pm.
You are welcome to go along and watch the four legged friends and their owners. There will be a day of agility, a fun dog show and local dog suppliers. All profits will go to the charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People UK.
It’ll take place at the Walled Garden, just outside the Stubbings Cafe.
Local Producers Market at Stubbings
Stubbings will be hosting a Local Producers Market on Good Friday 15th April from 10am – 3pm, SL6 6QL
You are welcome to go along and browse local produce – such as cheese, gins, cookies, honey, tea, crafts and much more.
Situated in the Walled Garden.
Storytime at Maidenhead Library
Every week there is a a Storytime drop in at the local libraries. Head down to the Maidenhead Library on St Ives Road on Tuesdays from 10:30am – 11am for Storytime and crafts.
And on Mondays there will be Storytime at Boyn Grove Library, Courthouse Road from 2:30pm – 3pm.

Code Ninjas Easter Holiday Camp
Code Ninjas is a franchise and a fun educational camp for children aged 4 – 14. The camps are designed to teach children to code through learning and play, and move up the ‘belts’ as they upskill.
During the Easter half term, there will be camps running each day – and each day there will be something different. Children will be learning stop motion animation, Minecraft Modifications, coding arcade games and more.
The camps run from Monday 11th April – Thursday 21st April (excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday) at The Braywick Leisure Centre.
Full Moon Paddleboarding
Join the team at Paddleboard Maidenhead for their monthly Full Moon Paddles, on Saturday 16th April in Medmenham near Hurley, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
This month will be the Pink Moon and those wanting to come along may wish to do yoga and meditation on the board.
Board hire is available but you must have experience of paddleboarding at night.

Let’s Dive In! Easter Holiday Activities
Local swim school, Let’s Dive In! will be running activities during the Easter half term that can be booked now.
They will run from 11th – 13th April at Claires Court School, College Avenue, Maidenhead.
From Monday 11th – Wednesday 13th there will be a three day course for £39. Sessions run for 30 minutes and they include Swim Fin non-swimmers and stage 1 advanced, stage 2 and stage 3 and Rookie Lifeguard.
And on Monday 11th – Wednesday 13th will be 45 minute sessions for £15 per person, stage 3 and above. They include Synchro, Water Polo and Mermaids and Sharks.
Re:Charge Family Drop In Session
Re:Charge is a registered charity and they are holding a family drop in session every Thursday from 10am – 2pm at the High Street Methodist Church, Maidenhead, SL6 1EF.
It costs £1.50 per family and it’s a chance to meet new friends and enjoy arts and crafts. There are plenty of toys for the children. Hot drinks will be available.
Family Zoo Days at BCA Zoo
Book your zoo encounter at BCA Zoo, Burchett’s Green SL6 6QR on Saturday 30th April.
You can book either a morning or afternoon slot (these encounters will be running throughout the summer months on the last Saturday of every month). Sessions are three hours and cost £8 per person. There will be arts and crafts and other activities running – as well as seeing all the animals at the zoo and on the farm.
The cafe will also be open, serving food and drinks.
